Bio:
Phil Diamond
was elected to the City Council in 2002. He
was re-elected in 2006 without opposition
and again in 2010 without opposition.
He currently serves as Mayor Pro Tem. His district stretches from Delaney
Park to the Osceola County border. Half of
the City’s land is in his district. He is
married with a daughter and a son and lives
in Delaney Park. He is a practicing attorney
who is of counsel to the Carlton Fields law
firm.
Commissioner Diamond has
been a tireless advocate for our
neighborhoods. He has supported efforts to
reduce traffic congestion and improve the
safety of our roads. He has been
instrumental in improving and expanding our
park system. Commissioner Diamond has worked
to diversify our economy and bring high
paying jobs to Orlando. He is known as a
fiscal conservative.
