Police Officer First
Class Edward "Eddie" Rosado

Officer Edward “Eddie” Rosado was sworn into the Orlando Police
Department on August 9, 2004.
After completing his field training, he was assigned to
the East Patrol where he proudly served for two and a half
years.
On October 1st, 2007 he was
transferred to the West side of the City. On January 21st,
2008, while working on the West side of the City, he was offered
the Assistant Squad Leader position on Charlie/Alpha Days,
position he held until recently.
Officer Rosado is a valued member of the
Orlando Police Bluesox Softball Team which travels nationally
competing in Police tournaments representing our Agency.
While being part of the Orlando Police
Department Officer Rosado has received the following
certifications: Tactical Pistol, Active Shooter, DUI
Certification along with Radar and Laser Operator.
Before the Orlando Police Department,
Officer Rosado lived in northern New Jersey where he was born
and resided until he moved to Orlando, Florida in 2003 to follow
his dreams in law enforcement. His parents are from Puerto Rico.
While in New Jersey, he worked in the
printing industry for 18 years.
He was the General Manager for one the largest grossing
printing franchises in the nation.
He supervised over 50 people at his location from sales,
personnel to production workers.
He proudly graduated 5th in his
class in May 2004.
