On Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at City Hall, the City of Orlando hosted business leaders from the various Main Street districts for a training session to help them better understand the services The City Beautiful provides.  This training session was intended to provide them with the tools necessary to help make their respective Main Street district as successful as possible.

     Afterward, Commissioner Sheehan sponsored a luncheon for a dozen business leaders from the Mills 50 Main Street District.  This opportunity gave her the chance to hear their vision for their Main Street program and help facilitate positive movement toward making District 4's businesses prosper.  Officer Jim Young was also on hand to talk about the importance of Business Watch, a variation of Neighborhood Watch geared toward businesses looking out for one another.
