Mayor Dyer Welcomes Mrs. World Delegates to the City of Orlando

WHAT:
On Thursday, December 8, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and David Siegel, President and CEO of Westgate Resorts, will welcome delegates from across the globe to the City of Orlando for the 2011 Mrs. World Pageant hosted by Westgate Resorts. During the welcoming ceremony, the Mrs. World Pageant delegates will present Mayor Dyer with gifts representative of their home countries. Married women representing upwards of 65 countries will participate in the ceremony.

The 2011 Mrs. World Pageant will be held in Orlando December 6 - 15 and will be hosted by Westgate Resorts. The Preliminary Competition will be held on December 14 at Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa in Orlando, Florida and will be presented by national television personality Bill Harris. The Final Competition will be co-hosted by Florence Henderson and her daughter Barbara Chase on December 15 and will be staged at the Orange County Convention Center Linda Chapin Theater.

During the welcoming ceremony, Mayor Dyer will present Florence Henderson a Key to the City.
