WHAT:
The NBA, the Orlando Magic, the city of Orlando, and Sprint will officially tip-off NBA All-Star 2012 on Wednesday, Jan. 4 during a special event at the Amway Center. A host of dignitaries and players from the Orlando Magic will be on-hand to celebrate the excitement surrounding the city as it prepares to host NBA All-Star 2012. Magic players Dwight Howard, Jameer Nelson, Jason Richardson, and Hedo Turkoglu will also officially tip off 2012 NBA All-Star Balloting presented by Sprint, unveil the ballot, and cast the first All-Star votes during the event.

NBA All-Star Balloting presented by Sprint allows fans to select their favorite players as starters for the 2012 NBA All-Star Game by voting on NBA.com and via mobile devices. The NBA All-Star ballot lists 120 players – 60 each from the Eastern and Western conferences – with 24 guards, 24 forwards, and 12 centers from each conference comprising the list.
