Last Car of Church Street Station Train Prepares to Move

WHAT:
Today crews from RE Johnson will begin preparing the Engine Car from the Church Street Station Train to be moved by truck to its new location at the Gulf Coast Railway Museum in Parrish, Florida.

The engine car is the last car of the Church Street Station Train to move. The Church Street Station Train was moved one car at a time and the process began with the passenger car on January 18.

Tomorrow morning at 3:45 to 4:00 a.m. the engine car will begin to depart Downtown Orlando on a flatbed truck. The engine car will be taken to Amway Arena parking lot #1 tomorrow morning and will begin its route to Parrish, Florida on Monday, February 6 between 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

The route the engine car will take to the Amway Arena parking lot #1 is:
East on South Street
Right onto Orange Avenue
Right onto Anderson Street
Right onto Division
Right onto South Street
Left onto Garland
Left on Robinson
Right on Hughey Avenue
Left on Livingston

VISUALS:
RE Johnson will start attaching the wheels to the engine car this morning starting at 10:00 a.m. and prep work will continue into the afternoon today.
