HISPANIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OF METRO
ORLANDO AND THE CITY OF ORLANDO TO UNVEIL “HOLA ORLANDO JOBS”
WHAT: As part of the HOLA (Hispanic Office for
Local Assistance) program, Mayor Dyer is unveiling an Internet-based, bilingual
job marketplace initiative to connect hundreds of local businesses with job
opportunities to members of the Central Florida’s Hispanic community. “Hola
Orlando Jobs,” which can be found at www.holaorlandojobs.com, is the result of a
partnership between the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando and the
City of Orlando. It is also an important component of the array of services
provided by the HOLA.
Mayor Dyer’s newly enhanced HOLA program was launched in March of this year to
equip newly relocated individuals and families with the tools and resources
necessary for a successful transition.
WHO: President, Chairman and Board of Directors of the Hispanic Chamber will
join City of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 2 Commissioner Betty Wyman,
in unveiling Central Florida’s unique job marketplace serving the Hispanic
community in the region.
In addition, Alicia Ramirez, director of HOLA and other community leaders will
be present to provide additional information regarding HOLA services and its
benefits to the community.
