3rd Annual Kool Playgrounds Golf Tournament

The City of
Orlando's Families, Parks and Recreation
Department's Recreation Division would like to
invite you to its second annual Kool Playgrounds
Golf Tournament on Saturday, November 21, 2009
at Dubsdread Golf Course. The golf tournament
will benefit the non-profit Orlando Community
and Youth Trust, Inc. This 501(c)(3)
organization serves as the fundraising arm for
the City’s Families, Parks, and Recreation
Department to provide scholarships, programs and
activities that are not regularly part of the
department's allocated funds. Projects and
activities funded by the Orlando Community and
Youth Trust, Inc. enhance the quality of life
for youth, families, and senior citizens living
in the City of Orlando. Last year’s tournament
raised $15,000 that went to athletics and youth
initiatives, additional senior programming, and
enhancements to the City’s recreation centers.
Corporate foursomes, foursomes, and
individual players are invited to participate in
this best ball scramble format tournament.
Registration begins at 7 a.m. and shot gun
starts at 8:30 a.m. The title sponsor is Kool
Playgrounds, and other sponsorship opportunities
are available including hole, awards luncheon,
and food and beverage sponsorship.
Registration rates are as follows:
•
Corporate foursome – $540 (includes hole
sponsorship and signage)
• Foursome – $340
• Individual – $85
