Highlights:

Greenwood Urban Wetlands is a naturalistic park which functions as a storm water treatment facility. Developed in 1991, the land was reconfigured and lakes formed to handle massive amounts of rainwater runoff from the surrounding roadways. Aquatic plantings and extensive tree plantings help to filter the water and create a serene, attractive park. Benches and picnic tables are scattered throughout the 19 acres of parkland near the meandering walkway. Bridges span the lake at different points to allow access to all parts of the park.

Leashed pets are allowed at all City parks, but not in playgrounds or athletic fields. Please clean up after your pet.
