Landscape Uses
Wedelia is very attractive because of nearly constant and prolific blooming.  This virtuous plant can be used just as a groundcover and is especially good for soil retention and erosion control.  It may be mowed to keep the plants low and manicured.

Farm animals have been known to abort fetuses after grazing on Wedelia.

Fun Facts
There is a folklore medicinal use for Wedelia.  Tea made from the leaves was used to alleviate symptoms of colds and the flu.
