SUMMARY:

The Orlando Police Department developed the City’s first Teen Police Academy. The 8-week course offered 90-minute classes to 13-18-year-olds from throughout Orlando in an attempt to foster better understanding between the police and community youth.

The students have concluded the 8-week program and will participate in a graduation ceremony. They will receive their Teen Police Academy diploma from Orlando Police Chief Val Demings.
