This toolbox is designed to help make finding out the background on
prospective tenants, employees, and volunteers.

We provide the following services:
Background Checks (Orlando Police Department arrests only)
Required Information:
• Full Name (including previous names)
• Date of Birth
• Social Security Number
• $5.00 cash or money order
Incident Reports • 15 cents per page • Releasability depends on case status • Public Records exemptions apply
Crash Reports • Driver must present identification • $10.00 per
copy
•For Traffic Homicide reports, $25.00 per copy • Drivers, pedestrians, passengers, property owners can obtain reports 5-10 days
of crash • Insurance providers and attorneys representing persons directly involved in
crash can obtain reports 5-10 days of crash • Persons not directly involved, or not representing someone with a direct
involvement can obtain crash reports after 60 days
Crime Printouts • 15 cents per page • If CPU exceeds 300 seconds, additional 15 cent per second (for total time)

applicable fees.

the prospective tenant/employee/property buyers

Records in Orange County. Online searches will reveal scanned images of wedding
licenses, deeds, and civil judgments.
Florida Department of Corrections

Sex offenders present a significant
risk to the community when they are present where vulnerable targets congregate.
The current offender laws may overlook areas of vulnerability where offenders
and children might be, such as a workplace. This web site can be used to screen
prospective employees, volunteers, and residents to protect our children and
prevent them from becoming targets.
This toolbox will be updated as new public avenues for information become
available.
