We focus on advocacy and providing timely information to our M/WBE's to maximize opportunities for meaningful involvement in all areas of contracting. Our greatest challenge is to continue to educate and provide resources to minority and women owned firms, thus enabling them to become more competitive and self-sufficient. The City's Role The City of Orlando accepts the responsibility to increase opportunities for certified minority and women-owned business enterprises to more effectively participate in the bidding process for construction projects and services of City Government. The City of Orlando views the development of minority business enterprise as an important part of the continuing development of the community. Therefore it is a continuing goal of the City of Orlando to actively pursue minority business enterprises to take part in the contracting activities. Our Promise We promise
