The certification forms should be completed, notarized and returned with all required documentation, in order that it may be presented for review to the Certification Board Committee. Upon successful review, your firm will be acknowledged as a certified minority or women-owned business enterprise and become eligible for all benefits afforded through the MBE provisions of Chapter 57 Articles II and III of the Orlando City code. REMEMBER, you must be certified by the City of Orlando to participate in the M/WBE Program. Forms
Rules
Requesting an Appeal A hearing before the Certification Appeal Board to appeal the denial of recertification/re-recognition may be obtained by filing a written request on company letterhead to the MBE Director for a hearing within ten (10) days of the receipt of the notice of the denial.
