- Plan
and design network operations strategy, policies, procedures and
standards with management
- Strategic
and tactical planning
- Participate
and facilitate network planning to ensure that business plans
are in-line with network technology strategy
- Identify
on-going training for TM professionals
- Assist
in establishing and enforcing LAN/WAN policies
- Develop
and review LAN/WAN detailed design and growth requirements
- Evaluate
vendor products and recommend purchase of hardware and software
- Manage
voice and data communication systems
- Develop
and maintain the necessary controls and procedures to protect
information systems or its assets from inadvertent modification,
disclosure, theft or destruction
- Manage
disaster recovery plan
- Monitor
backup and recovery procedures.
