Exhibition Overview
The "Gateway to
the World: India Series" showcase by Ravé blends the real
with the surreal in an original photography exhibit of a
5,000 person - 9 Day Indian Wedding in Mumbai, India for
which he served as the Creative Director. The exhibit is
comprised of 15 unique pieces inked onto 30"x40" canvas
sheets signed by the artist.
"Across
humanity, weddings are a common celebration of life and
love, yet it's interesting to see how different countries
and cultures celebrate these festive occasions. In this
exhibit, I wanted to immerse others into the vivid imagery,
festive colors, and grandiose beauty typically found in an
Indian wedding – which shows great contrast from the
traditional western white wedding..." - Ravé
