Exhibition Overview
“The key to
L.I.F.E. is to pass on the message, the hope is that it
inspires other people to step out of their box and go
through their own door to be a better person.” - Mark
Goldthwaite
This exhibition will feature 25 artists painting doors on
the theme of L.I.F.E. – Love is for Everyone. Inspired by a
goal to make the world a better place Mark Goldthwaite and
Julie West along with Bill and Debbie Hires of the Altamonte
T-shirt company Tiltworks formed the core group that made
L.I.F.E. a limited liability company of Tiltworks in order
to spread the message on T-shirts and novelty items. In
order to expand on the idea the group invited 25 local
artists to paint individual doors as a symbol of moving
through our own selfishness to L.I.F.E. These individual
efforts will be on display at the Terrace Gallery at City of
Orlando, City Hall.
