Project: Time Off Week is May 25-29 . The week, which is organized by the U.S. Travel Association, reminds citizens to put vacation days to use. Mayor Buddy Dyer has declared the week as “Project: Time Off Week” in the City of Orlando, encouraging residents to plan a Central Florida staycation.

1. Take a Ride on a Lake Eola Swan Boat
Swan Boats are available to rent at Lake Eola Park. What a great way to pedal around the park, check out the fountain up close and see a swan or two.
2. Go Fishing at Bill Frederick Park
Rent a B.A.S.S. fishing boat and troll about the beautiful, well-stocked lake and take your luck with a few casts.
3. Catch a City Soccer Game at the Orlando Citrus Bowl
Grab your favorite purple shirt and head over to the Orlando Citrus Bowl for an Orlando City Soccer match or visit an official watch party in Downtown Orlando to cheer the Lions to victory.
4. Go Paddle Boarding on Lake Ivanhoe
Take advantage of this great weather and get outdoors. Lake Ivanhoe is nestled in the heart of Ivanhoe Village providing lots of great stops for a snack or lunch after a beautiful day paddling.
5. Take a Stroll around Harry P. Leu Gardens
Visit this 50-acre botanical oasis just minutes from the heart of Downtown Orlando and stop to smell the roses.
