Orlando residents play an important role in preventing crimes. As part of the City of Orlando’s National Night Out program, the Orlando Police Department and Orlando Fire Department is hosting several events in May that will help residents get involved in crime prevention and public safety activities.
Free Women’s Self-Defense Training
The classes teach basic self-defense skills and can help give women the tools needed to help protect themselves should a violent situation arise. The training is open to females 18 or older. Females under 18 must be accompanied by a parent.
