ORLANDO (CityofOrlando.net) – The City of Orlando’s Office of Emergency Management is training residents to become severe storm spotters. The training allows citizens to report severe and hazardous weather to help in the weather warning process.
The training, which is developed and instructed by the National Weather Service, is set for Wednesday, November 12 from 6-8 p.m. at the Orlando Emergency Operations Center.
The spotter program is a volunteer public service open to citizens 18 years or older.
