ORLANDO (CityofOrlando.net) – A popular community center, the Engelwood Neighborhood Center has a well-used gym, computers with Internet access, a game room and a fitness center.
The center was built in 1975 and funded through the Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation. The Boys & Girls Club occupied the building until 1997, when it was renovated to serve as a neighborhood center.
Several new classrooms were added, the weight room was expanded, a computer lab was added and a larger game room was built. The center also includes a park and pool.
