Lake Eola Park
Located in the heart of Downtown Orlando, Lake Eola is the perfect place for families to spend time outside. The park offers a variety of activities such as swan-shaped paddle boats, feeding live swans, concerts at the Walt Disney Amphitheater and a lively playground. Sit down by the lake and enjoy the beautiful view of Orlando’s skyline amongst the gorgeous flowers beds.
Orlando Public Library
The 290,000-square foot facility is the largest public library in the state of Florida and has been around since 1923. Families can enjoy the various departments and can find just about any type of book. The children’s section offers spacious areas, programs, computers and story rooms for young readers, making sure that everyone in the family makes the most of their visit

Orange County Regional History Center
Bring the family out to the history center and experience four floors of dynamic exhibits exploring 12,000 years of Central Florida history. The center also offers limited-run and nationally-run traveling exhibitions throughout the year. Visitors can expect exhibits about the natural environment, theme parks, aviation and Orlando history.

Taking place every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the farmers market located at Lake Eola Park is the perfect place to spend some time. The market offers fresh produce, baked goods, crafts, jewelry, plants, live entertainment and more. It’s much more than a traditional farmers market, ensuring that all ages have a great time.
Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts
For families who want to be entertained by the arts, the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts is the place to go. In addition to Broadway shows and concerts, the facility, which opened November 6, will have performances for children.
