ORLANDO (CityofOrlando.net) – iLead is the City of Orlando’s new interactive program that helps neighborhood leaders inform, connect and involve their fellow community members. On Tuesday, April 22, neighborhood leaders can participate in the first iLead webinar.
Cultivating New Leaders
The debut webinar includes tips on how to recruit and mentor future leaders and details how the key to a successful neighborhood organization is in its leadership. The webinar is scheduled for 7-8 p.m.
“The City is using iLead live webinars as another tool to provide training to neighborhood leaders at the location of their choice, including the comfort of their home. The informal format allows the sharing of information about key trends and issues impacting the success of neighborhood organizations. They also provide the opportunity for participants to learn from each other,” neighborhood relations manager Susan Harris said.
