Nearly 90 percent of people who have a sudden cardiac arrest die because they do not receive immediate CPR. Help lower that percentage by joining the Orlando Fire Department and Take Heart Orlando for free hands-only CPR/AED training on Valentine’s Day, February 14.
The 30-minute training sessions will be held at all 17 OFD stations from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Annually, nearly 400,000 people in the United States experience a sudden cardiac arrest. Receiving hands-only CPR/AED training helps individuals take action and save lives.
“It’s our goal to train every resident in hands-only CPR and how to use and AED over the next five years,” Mayor Buddy Dyer said.
