ORLANDO (CityofOrlando.net) – In its efforts to engage and inform residents, the City of Orlando strives to help empower neighborhood leaders to educate, connect and involve their neighbors.
iLead, an interactive neighborhood training resource managed by the City’s Office of Communications and Neighborhood Relations, provides neighborhood leaders with tools to guide their organizations.
Through a series of online guides, videos, webinars and workshops, iLead makes learning about leading in the community convenient. Topics include how to effectively hold meetings, how to utilize a variety of communication tools and how to engage the next generation of leaders.
The downloadable guides provide in-depth information and tools for finding success in an association. In quick, two-minute segments, the videos offer best tips and practices.
Webinars, which are scheduled throughout the year, provide a platform for neighborhood leaders to connect online and participate in interactive group meetings. iLead workshops include customized training at association meetings, monthly community connections workshops and the annual Neighborhood and Community Summit.
