Indie-Folkfest details | Get trained in Hands-Only CPR at the event
Still looking for something to do during Valentine’s Day weekend? The Mennello Museum of American Art has you covered. On February 13 the museum presents its second annual Indie-Folkfest from noon to 5 p.m.
The free event brings together local artists, musicians and food and drink specialties. This grand picnic is held in the sculpture garden that overlooks Lake Formosa in Loch Haven Cultural Park.
Pack your picnic blanket and spend the afternoon enjoying a nonstop lineup of music from numerous local performers.
Artists and crafters from all over Orlando will display their handmade products as well as having many for sale.
Let the foodie inside you enjoy small plates and snacks available for purchase. Pair your picnic goods with craft cocktails offered by numerous vendors.
“This event focuses on great local food, artists and music,” festival producer Genevieve Bernard said. “It’s a really fun community picnic in a beautiful space. We think it’s a special way to celebrate the wonderful things our community has to offer.”
