Fireworks at the Fountain information
ORLANDO (CityofOrlando.net) – The Orlando Concert Band is a 65-member wind ensemble composed of professional and amateur musicians. The concert band has performed at Fireworks at the Fountain for the past 14 years and will perform again Friday at 7:15 p.m. at Lake Eola Park.
“One of my favorite songs that the band performs is God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood. People just love the song and it is just heart wrenching,” president of the band’s board of directors Rick de Treville said. “The Orlando Concert Band enjoys to perform at Fireworks at the Fountain and it has become a tradition.”
Fireworks at the Fountain is one of the largest events that the Orlando Concert Band performs in throughout the year. The concert band performs in 20 to 24 events. Many of their performances are for patriotic events. The concert band is a part of several concert series throughout the community.
The concert band provides an exciting performance to Orlando City residents and visitors who attend Fireworks at the Fountain. The group performs to entertain and educate through live musical performance.
