ORLANDO (CityofOrlando.net) – If you would like to watch airplanes take off while relaxing, Airport Lakes Park, located near Orlando International Airport, is the perfect place to spend the afternoon. Park-goers love to use the playground, play soccer, ride their bikes, go fishing, walk the trails and take picnics to the park.
Originally funded by the Florida Communities Trust Grant, Airport Lakes Park has been designated as a conservation green space.
One of the major attractions is the park’s disc golf course, where players of all skill levels enjoy the new and challenging course.
The park is available for reservation for celebrations and events – ranging from family gatherings in the pavilions, to mini-tournaments on the multi-purpose fields.
