We want to make it easy for you to help keep Orlando beautiful, so we’re holding another electronic waste and textile recycling day on Saturday, August 12. It’s free, easy and efficient – all you have to do is drive up and drop your unwanted items off, and you’ll be contributing to the effort to keep our city clean.
From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., bring your electronic waste and recyclable textiles to Orlando Festival Park (2911 East Robinson Street), and we’ll make sure they’re safely and properly recycled. Accepted items include computer monitors, cell phones and televisions, as well as clothes, shoes and home textiles like towels and curtains.
It’s a simple act with a big impact: by responsibly donating unwanted goods and recycling textiles, you’re improving the quality of life for those in need and protecting the environment for future generations by keeping hazardous chemicals from electronic waste out of our water and air.
