Spring is about to begin, and that means it is time to get back into the pool. The City of Orlando has opened up registration for eight-week classes that are designed to introduce residents three years and up to swimming.
Specific classes are offered for three age groups: preschool, youth and adult. Participants will learn swimming and self-help skills and basic rescue and stroke techniques. Classes will be held at the College Park Community Center, Dover Shores Community Center, Dr. James R. Smith Neighborhood Center and the Wadeview Community Center.
Classes will be held on Saturdays, March 5-April 23, and registration is $40 for residents and $50 for non-residents.
