Treat mom to a special Mother’s Day in The City Beautiful.
On Sunday, May 8, moms receive free admission to Leu Gardens, and admission is free for the entire family at the Mennello Museum of American Art.
Leu Gardens offers 50 acres of beautiful gardens, including Florida’s largest rose garden, which is in bloom in May. The Leu House Museum, located in the heart of the gardens, reveals turn-of-the-century living for those who once called the building home.
On Sunday, Leu Gardens is open from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Leu Gardens is located at 1920 North Forest Avenue.
The Mennello Museum of American Art showcases changing exhibitions featuring American art of all genres and time periods, including originally curated and traveling shows. Mother’s Day is part of the museum’s Free Family Day and includes the opportunity for children to make their own art.
Open from Noon – 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, the Mennello Museum of American Art is located at 900 East Princeton Street in Loch Haven Cultural Park.
