Tickets are on sale now for the Trash 2 Trends runway event, Orlando’s 2nd annual recycled fashion show. The event on Saturday, February 28 at the Orlando Repertory Theatre at 6 p.m. will help raise funds for Keep Orlando Beautiful while bringing the fashion and art world together with the environmental community to promote and inspire sustainability.
The fashion show will feature 30 local fashion designers who have created innovative, wearable looks made from materials that would otherwise be headed to the landfill or recycling facility.
At the event, a panel of judges will choose winners in five different categories: top design, avant-garde, most wearable, best use of materials and audience choice. The event will be hosted by local comedian Doug Ba’auser along with Orlando Sentinel columnist Scott Maxwell.
