Get Healthy Florida in partnership with the City of Orlando and Florida Hospital are giving away over 1,500 free seasonal flu shots at a community Fast & Free Flu Shot event on Thursday, November 5th. The event will be open to the public. Each year more than 200,000 people are hospitalized with the flu and 36,000 people die from complications of the flu. This is the 8th year that Get Healthy Florida has vaccinated residents for free, totaling more than 120,000 free shots being given. |
