CANDIDATE RESIDENCY REFERENDUM
Orlando has adopted Ordinance No. 040126901, which will amend its Charter if a majority of the voters casting ballots approve this amendment. The following requirements are proposed: before qualifying for City office, (a) candidates must have resided in and been registered voters of the City
of Orlando for at least one year; and (b) City Council district candidates must have resided in and been registered voters of that district for at least one year.
