Note
Reporting
Lobbyist are required to file disclosure of
expenses for any lobbying activity related to any elected city
official or designated staff decision makers. Filing dates are
February 1st and August 1st*.
- Staff Decision Makers:
- Appearance Review Officer
- Deputy Building Official
- City Engineer
- Fire Marshal
- Historic Preservation Officer
- Planning Official
- Transportation Engineer
- Vehicle for Hire Administrator
- Zoning Official
*If no expenditures incurred, then no
report is necessary.
Prohibition of Lobbying
Lobbying of members of any City Board
is prohibited outside of a posted public meeting.
Written communication must be directed to the board
secretary for distribution to all board members.
Additional Prohibition
The City Public Works and Office of
Purchasing & Materials Management policies prohibit
proposers from any and all communication regarding the
procurement process with Council members selection
committee members and City staff until the final award
is made, except through assigned staff members.
Note
It is the responsibility of the
Lobbyist to file all applicable forms as specified in
Section 2.191, Article XXIX of Chapter 2 of the Code of
the City of Orlando.
