Commissioner Tony Ortiz invites the residents of District 2 to attend our 4th Annual Fall Festival.

The festival will be on  Friday, October 24, 2014 starting at 5:30 p.m.  until 9:30 p.m. – Engelwood Neighborhood Center’s Softball Field.

October 18Cafe Latino 2014 NLAAD Health Fair 10-18-2014

Commissioner Tony Ortiz and Cafe Latino Coalition invites you to celebrate the National Latino AIDS Awareness Day on Saturday, October 18, 2014.  This event will take place at the Engelwood Neighborhood Center from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Educational workshops, HIV free testing, Zumba demonstration and more.

National Night Out Against Crime Celebrations – Commissioner Tony Ortiz and his staff will be visiting the neighborhoods celebrating National Night Out Against Crime in District 2.

He will end the night at a special celebration at the Engelwood Neighborhood Center where the residents of Engelwood Park will be celebrating winning this year’s  Second Place in the City for their theme celebration related to National Night Out.

Commissioner Tony Ortiz will celebrate along with the members of  “Unidos Por Ecuador” the Independence of Ecuador.  The celebration will take place at the City Hall Rotunda at 5 p.m.

August 8

Commissioner Tony Ortiz will be giving backpacks and school supplies to 400 children attending the Dover Shores Community Center and Engelwood Neighborhood Center’s Summer Camp Programs.

August 21

The Hispanic Business Initiative Fund (HBIF) invites all the business owners of District 2 to attend a presentation about their program.  The presentation will be at the Engelwood Neighborhood Center at 6 p.m.

City of Orlando 2014 Broadway Bound City Showcase presented by the Recreation Division.  Commissioner Tony Ortiz will be attending this event that will showcase the children attending City’s Summer Programs.  This event will be at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center.  They will perform pieces from different Broadway’s shows.
