About the Board
The City of Orlando District 5 Youth Advisory Board is currently a 13 member board that represents a cross section of unprivileged and privileged youth from the public and private school systems. The board’s main focuses are Community Outreach, Career Exploration & Career Preparation. As the board focuses on these three goals. Its primary responsibilities include fundraising, marketing, media relations, coordination of district events and service projects, and youth peer mentoring/ tutoring.

Anyone addressing the Youth Advisory Board must email our Board Deputy Chief of Staff Nadine Mubarak.
The board executive team will work towards preparing the youth for the career world through, connecting the district youth to internships, workshops and more that will increase their chances of getting their desired jobs.
Register for recreation programs
After-school programs, aquatics and pottery courses etc.
From time to time, board members use at least 2 days out of the month for a board outing.
Board members also takes time to plan for fun community outreach to connect and embrace youth.
