On July 13th, 2015 Mr. Curtis Dean, Senior Vice President of Roberts Hotels Group, presented Commissioner Samuel B. Ings with the Rosa Parks Award. Mr. Dean, whom also happens to be Mrs. Parks’ God Son, gave a brief summary of the history of the award, some of the world class recipients, as well as discussed why Commissioner Ings is deserving of the award. This reward is reserved exclusively for esteemed contributors to the community.
