attending the National Night Out party.
Officer Young talking with his sergeant, Sgt.
Michelle Smith.
Our first party in the district was in Colonialtown
South.
Commissioner Sheehan enjoyed the opportunity to chat
with some
great neighbors in Colonialtown South and party host
and
Neighborhood Watch Block Captain, Sandy Bennett
(far right).

party attendee.

Arriving at the 3rd District 4 party in Thornton Park
that Neighborhood Watch
Block Captain, Terry Driscoll, organized and
helped make a true success.

We arrive at The Waverly after enjoying our visit at
Thornton Park.
Some of OFD's Finest had already arrived.
Commissioner Sheehan and The Waverly's Condo
Association President, Greg Reynolds,
with Officer Young in the background.
Commissioner Sheehan enjoys her chats with some of
the great residents at The Waverly. Waverly resident and
Neighborhood Watch Block Captain, Karen Heinzig,
organized this awesome party for her fellow Waverly
residents.
The District 4 Team.
Commissioner Sheehan and the awesome Waverly resident
who helped
us figure out how to open the gate at the pool.
A great shot of the rainbow that appeared to stretch
from the south end of District 4 all the
way to the north end. A beautiful sign of how wonderful all
the residents are on a special night.
We arrive at District 4 party number five in the
great condo community of Cypress Creek.
Several OFD firefighters were there and were already
visiting with the neighbors.
Commissioner Sheehan enjoys a laugh with some Cypress
Creek
residents and OFD firefighters as annual NNO party
host and
Block Captain, Darrell Garner, comes up to
greet us.
Party number 6 was one of two in Dover Shores West.
Officer Young chats with some neighbors in the
gorgeous backyard of the host home.
The kids at the party knew how to stay cool on such a
humid evening.
The homemade ice cream was a hit! Party host,
Lynn Pool, served it up to the kids.
We arrive at party number seven at the First Alliance
Church in Dover Shores West/Lake Underhill. They had a great
turnout earlier with roughly 100-200 neighbors attending.
They were just wrapping things up...
...but, the kids were still having a fun time.
Unfortunately, the batteries on the camera died after
this photo. So, we missed more
pictures of this huge, successful party and host and
organizer, Jeff Kozak.
We also weren't able to get pictures of the last
party in the wonderful
Lake Cherokee neighborhood and hosts, George and
Ginette Wilken.
But, we want to extend our deepest thanks to
Jeff, George and Ginette for awesome parties.
Commissioner Sheehan wants
to thank ALL the District 4 Neighborhood Watch and National Night
Out Block Captains - Sandy Bennett (Colonialtown
South), Dennis Jenkins (Lake Como), Terry Driscoll (Thornton
Park), Karen Heinzig (The Waverly), Darrell Garner (Cypress
Creek), Lynn Pool (Dover Shores West), Jeff Kozak (Dover
Shores West) and George & Ginette Wilken (Lake Cherokee)
- for organizing and hosting the parties in your neighborhoods.
Also, she would like to thank all the residents and neighbors for
coming out and helping make these important events the successes
they were.
