Mayor Dyer Illuminates Downtown Orlando with Holiday Lights Orlando

WHAT: Mayor Buddy Dyer invites Orlando residents to join him for the City’s tradition of Holiday Lights Orlando. To kick off the holiday season, the City will illuminate with more than 700,000 lights and a magnificent 45-foot Norway Spruce tree from Sugar Mountain, North Carolina.
In addition to the spectacular tree lighting ceremony, festivities will include a variety of musical entertainment, a visit from Santa, a Menorah lighting and holiday-themed refreshments. Admission to Holiday Lights Orlando is free.

In the spirit of holiday giving, the City has teamed up with Johnny and Jayde of XL106.7 to support the Baby DJ Fund. Toys collected will be distributed by XL 106.7 to local families who are unable to provide their children with toys for the holidays.

5:15 p.m. – Holiday Lights Orlando begins
6:15 p.m. – Tree lighting ceremony
6:15 – 6:30 – Mayor Dyer media availability
