Open Completed Park System in Baldwin Park
| WHAT: |
On Saturday, Mayor
Dyer and District 3 City Commissioner Robert F. Stuart will
officially open the final section in the 175-acre public park
system in Baldwin Park.
Harbor Park, along with Blue Jacket Park, Lake Baldwin Trail and
the Central Florida Veteran‘s Memorial Park, provide outdoor
amenities for exercise, recreation and relaxation with

to the 650,000 recruits who were stationed on the site when it
was the Orlando Naval Training Center from 1969 to 1997.
Since 2003, Mayor Dyer has opened or renovated 50 parks, ball
fields and community centers, building on the City’s 1500 acres
