Mayor Dyer Hosts 3rd Annual Neighborhood & Community Summit   

WHAT: Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer is hosting the 3rd Annual Neighborhood & Community Summit: TOGETHER: Planting Seeds for Our Future on Saturday, April 12 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The Summit will bring together neighborhood, arts & cultural, civic, community-based and faith-based leaders to gain insight on innovative and exciting City initiatives, discuss community building opportunities and create partnerships that contribute to a vibrant city.
A variety of neighborhood engagement workshops, best practices and networking opportunities are available for attendees. Twelve different workshops will be offered including crime prevention, how organizations can benefit from City grants, tapping into the Main Street program and engaging the youth and seniors in our neighborhoods. The keynote topic will concentrate on making and keeping our City green.
Residents who register by Monday, March 31 receive a discounted cost of only $5. After March 31, the cost is $10. Registration includes continental breakfast, lunch and workshops.
