The City of Orlando is preparing for Tropical Storm
Fay. Mayor Buddy Dyer wants residents to do the same.
The City continues to monitor Tropical Storm Fay and make
preparations in anticipation of heavy rains and tropical storm
force winds on Tuesday evening. All City departments have begun
implementing their disaster preparedness plans. The City's
emergency managers are ensuring disaster supplies are in place
and that ample resources are available to deal with whatever the
storm brings.
Accordingly, all residents are
encouraged to begin preparing for the storm by making sure they
have enough supplies in their disaster kits to last for at least
three days and mapping out an emergency plan with their family
members.
