On Thursday, August 21, District 2
City Commissioner Tony Ortiz will host a Neighborhood Leaders
Council meeting. At this meeting, Commissioner Ortiz will
provide an update on the district specific issues. In addition,
City of Orlando staff from various departments will speak on
issues such as housing, recreation, the Mayor’s Matching Grants
program and the budget for Fiscal Year 2008/2009.
There will be an opportunity for
neighborhood leaders to ask questions and facilitate discussion.
This is the second Council meeting Commissioner Ortiz has hosted
since being sworn into office in May.
