More than $4 million has gone
unclaimed by Orlando residents. This unclaimed money is to be
paid out in economic stimulus payments for those that have filed
their 2007 tax returns. More than 14,000 Orlando residents
eligible for an economic stimulus check have yet to file,
resulting in the unclaimed money. For most filers, payments will
range between $300 to $600 for individuals and $600 to $1200 for
joint filers. Residents can apply for their payment by attending
special one day events at the following locations and times:

To get an economic stimulus payment,
it is necessary to file a tax form (1040A) with the IRS by
October 15, 2008. Taxpayers may receive $300 for each qualifying
child. Even residents that do not usually file a tax return are
potentially eligible for the economic stimulus payment. Anyone
