The City of Orlando’s Christmas Tree Arrives at Lake Eola Park

WHAT:
The City of Orlando’s Christmas tree at Lake Eola Park is scheduled to arrive at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2011.

Maxim Crane Works, L.P. has volunteered to provide the huge crane needed to lift and stand the 35-foot all-natural spruce from Sugar Mountain Nursery in North Carolina. Trinity Downtown and Bethany Christian Services donated the tree and have coordinated the delivery and installation. The tree will be lit at the City’s annual Holiday Lights Orlando event which will feature The Gift Christmas Festival and Show this year.

Mary Lowndes Poole & Associates – Orlando is scheduled to begin decorating the tree at 9:00 a.m. on both Friday, November 25 and Saturday, November 26. SunBelt Rentals has donated the bucket lift for decorating the tree.

The City’s Holiday Lights Orlando event will be held on Friday, December 2, 2011 starting at 4 p.m. For more information please visit, www.cityoforlando.net/holiday.
