Orlando Mayor Dyer Hosts the 6th Annual Blues B-Q
Thousands to fill Amway Center Plaza for Free Blues Music, Barbecue and Fun

WHAT:
Orlando Mayor Dyer invites Central Florida residents and visitors to the 6th annual Blues B-Q. Injecting the blues genre into the Downtown culture, this FREE blues festival has attracted music fans from across the state.

This year, Mayor Dyer is proud to announce that Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue and The Lee Boys will headline the sixth annual Blues B-Q. Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue have continued to grow their fan base since the release of their GRAMMY nominated debut album, “BACKATOWN,” in 2010. Their newest album, “FOR TRUE,” provides proof of their explosive growth and refining signature sound Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews has dubbed “Supafunkrock.” The Lee Boys, known for their unique "sacred steel" sound, have played or toured with musical artists such as Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers Band, The Black Crowes, Los Lobos and many more.
