City of Orlando's Elections Will Be Held April 3, 2012

March 22, 2012 - (Orlando, FL) – The City of Orlando will hold its elections for Mayor and Commissioners 1, 2, 4 and 6 on April 3, 2012. Because of the redistricting process, completed every 10 years in conjunction with the Census, many voters have changed their electoral districts, as result, the district number and voting locations may have change for some people. Therefore, we encourage to residents to visit our City website to get more information and link to the Supervisor of Elections website to locate their new district and voting location.

In order to be eligible to vote in the City of Orlando Election, residents must be registered to vote.

Voters have three voting options:
Mail: requesting a ballot and either send or deliver it to the Supervisor of Elections office. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is March 28 at 5 p.m.
Early voting: is conducted prior to election day at the Supervisor of Elections office between March 26 to 31.
Polls will be open the election day from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

There is no deadline for changing a voter’s name and home address. In fact, you can change it at the polls. As the election approaches visit cityoforlando.net/elections for all the election information and to find the location of your City election polling place.
