Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer to Break Ground on Sky House Orlando Today in Downtown

WHAT:
As Mayor Dyer announced today at his State of Downtown Address, the Sky House Orlando residential development will break ground today at 1:30 p.m. This is the first major residential high-rise to break ground since the recession hit; another important sign that the tide is turning for Orlando’s local economy and housing market.

Sky House Orlando will be a 23-story luxury high-rise apartment building offering 8,300 square feet of ground floor retail space and an eight level parking garage. The Sky House complex is located just two blocks from LYNX Central Station near one of Downtown Orlando’s planned SunRail stops and is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2013..
