City of Orlando Firefighters Respond in Pink

WHAT:
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the month of October, City of Orlando Fire Fighters will wear pink shirts in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year Orlando firefighters will also wear pink gloves on their EMS calls.

“It is our hope that seeing the firefighters wearing pink gloves and shirts will bring awareness to the fight against this tragic disease” said Orlando Fire Chief John Miller. “This disease has claimed too many victims in our lives and communities.”
